As part of the Anglican Church of Canada, St. Paul's affirms the doctrines of the Christian faith as described in the Nicene and Apostles' Creeds. Our Anglican identity is shaped by the theology contained within the Book of Common Prayer and its supplement, the Book of Alternative Services. We affirm the goodness and full participation of all people, regardless of race, class, gender, or sexual orientation.
Our worship is centred around the celebration of the sacrament of Holy Eucharist, more commonly known as Communion. During Communion, we remember and celebrate Christ's death and resurrection, we anticipate His second coming, and we are unified in relationship with God and each other. We believe that Jesus Christ is made truly present in the bread and wine offered on the altar. All Christians baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are welcome to receive the bread and wine. If you are not baptized, you may alternatively receive a blessing. If you are interested in learning more about baptism, please reach out to Mother Allie.
